Selling Your Device
How Can I Find Out My Device’s Value?
Simply type your device model into the Model Quick Search box located at the top right corner of our homepage and click “Go.” Once your model is found, you’ll instantly see its value.
What Devices Can I Sell?
We accept both working and faulty devices listed in our pricing guide. For more information, be sure to check out our Terms & Conditions.
How Do I Find My Device’s Model?
Locating your device’s model can sometimes be tricky. Usually, the model number is printed on a label on the back of the device. You can also use our extensive image library to match your device with its model. For popular devices, check out our trade-in pages for Samsung or iPhone, or visit our sell my mobile page to explore all accepted makes and models.
What is an IMEI Number?
The IMEI (International Mobile Equipment Identity) is a unique 15-digit serial number for each phone. It’s usually printed on the back of the device or inside the SIM card tray, especially for Apple iPhones. You can also display it by dialing *#06# on your phone, and the 15-digit number will appear.
Why Are Some Phones Only Worth £1?
We list over 5000 devices with varying values. Prices are monitored daily to stay competitive, so some newer budget phones may be worth less due to their low retail price. This means our payment for second-hand phones may also reflect that.
What If My Device Is Worth Nothing? Can I Recycle It?
If your device has no reuse value, we cannot accept it. We recommend contacting your local council for proper disposal of devices with no resale value.
Is There a Limit to How Many Devices I Can Sell?
Nope! You can sell as many devices as you like, whenever you want. The more, the better!
Do You Accept Fake or Counterfeit Phones?
We do not accept counterfeit phones, as they are illegal and can be dangerous to use. We only buy genuine devices.
Do You Accept Stolen Phones?
Absolutely not. We check all phones through CheckMEND, a crime protection database, to ensure they are not stolen or blacklisted. If we find a device is reported as stolen, we will not accept it.
Do You Buy Broken Phones?
Yes, we buy both working and faulty devices!
What Is Apple iOS Activation Lock?
Activation Lock is a security feature on iOS devices (iOS 7 and above) that links your Apple device to your iCloud account. Before sending your device to us, you must remove the iCloud account. Detailed instructions can be found on our Lock Removal page.
What Are Apple Stolen Device Protection and Android Theft Protection Locks?
These security features on Apple and Android devices prevent unauthorized access. We require these locks to be removed before you send us your device. If we receive a device with either lock enabled, we will return it to you and charge a £15 fee for the return. Instructions for unlocking your device are available on our Lock Removal page.
